Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate

More space, more freedom

If it's space that you need, then the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate is the perfect solution. The load compartment of the Estate is one of the largest in its segment, offering up to 1,500 litres of effortlessly stowed cargo with the split rear seats folded - an easy, one-handed operation. It also provides up to 485 litres of capacity with the rear seats in place, and one of the largest payloads in its class, a hefty 530 kg.

To elevate this adaptable car to even higher levels of spacious luxury, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate is fitted as standard with the Easy-Pack tailgate. For the utmost convenience, this can be opened or closed using the switch on the driver's door or the release handle on the tailgate. To prevent possible contact in confined spaces, the tailgate can be stopped in any position, or an opening limiter can be activated whereby the tailgate is only opened as far as the roof edge - useful for low garage ceilings in particular.

Technology for the environment

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is the first car in its market segment to be awarded the internationally accredited environmental certificate (ISO-Norm 14062), following on from the world’s first award of this certificate to the S-Class Saloon. In doing so the certifying body, the TÜV Süd Management Service GmbH, confirmed the environmentally-friendly development of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Important advances were made in the areas of fuel consumption, exhaust gas emissions and material selection, all of which are crucial throughout the lifespan of the car.

Sometimes, less is more: compared to the previous model series from 2000, the modern technology of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class allows for nitrogen oxide and hydrocarbon emissions to be reduced by twenty and twelve percent respectively. Mercedes-Benz remains the only automotive manufacturer to have been awarded this coveted environmental certificate.
