Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire has certainly got everything figured out when it comes to providing customers with cost-effective finance and insurance for their cars and outstanding service.
The group, which has retail outlets in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertford and Stevenage, has been named Mercedes-Benz Finance & Insurance Team by the manufacturer for the second consecutive year.
Ensuring 2009 was a vintage year for the business, Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire also finished in first place in the national retailer sales league – retaining top spot for 11 of the 12 months.
Achieving a staggering 338% of their new car volume target for sales of associated finance and insurance products was a major factor in Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire scooping the F&I title but it was not the only reason.
Bob Middleton, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services UK Ltd, explained: “Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire’s impressive showing comes down to strong process and performance management but also to a strongly supportive working culture. Well done to their entire team for winning this title for the second year in a row.”
Commenting on the awards success, Andrew Gallacher, Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire’s Group Sales Director, paid tribute to his colleagues.
“This is an excellent achievement and is recognition of the hard work and effort by the entire sales operation,” he said. “Last year in a challenging economic climate for our customers we were able to provide finance and insurance products that made the purchase of a new Mercedes-Benz both cost effective and pleasurable.”
Andrew continued: “Over the past two years, we have demonstrated that as a group we are one of the best premium retailers in the country for Mercedes-Benz and this is because we are lucky to have such a fantastic and dedicated team in all areas of the business.”
