The Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire Golf Challenge

Brocket Hall Golf Club, 8th July 2019

72 customers took part in this year’s highly enjoyable Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire qualifying event at Brocket Hall, which was a hard-fought day.  Sadly, there could only be 3 winners.

The weather certainly turned out for the event which made for a perfect day of golf and we had some great scores. The overall winner with a score of 38, was Ian Foster of Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club. The runner-up spot was taken by Mike Ready of Old Fold Manor and in third place was David Lane from Hanbury Manor Golf Club with 36 points.

Amongst the other highlights on the day were Keith Boulton (East Herts Golf Club) winning the nearest-the-pin competition and Ian Foster (Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club) claiming the prize for the longest drive. Trickshot performer Kevin Carpenter also kept players & staff thoroughly entertained and captivated during an incredible display of his talents, which really do have to be seen to be believed.  Those customers that were invited to attempt some of the tricks can lay testament to how easy Kevin makes it look!

Take a look at some of the photos from the day below.
